1. Pretty little
broken teacups
and perfume vials
that look like needles
litter my checkered floor.

2.We skinny dipped
in a stranger's pool,
chasing the frog hiding there
until our lips turned
blue.

3.My room-mate did yoga,
every day.
Sat and stretched her pearly skin,
and breathed, fogging up the brick-wall view,
every day.

4.Ice storm.
Power out, 7 days.
White light reindeer flickered and died.
Sled down a hill,
collided face-first with commet ice.
I still have the scars.

5.We said it was just to piss of the directors,
but it so wasn't.

6.It was snowing in April
and we fucked in a graveyard
to a soundtrack of purring machines
and falling rocks
cracking against cracked pavement.

7.You don't know me
like you think you do.

8.Sweden-
We pushed each other
into the Baltic Sea in winter-
we found a safe,
but never got it open.
4 of us, we tossed it out to sea.
It's still there.
Waiting.

9. I fell in love once.
It was good.
But falling out of love was better.

But it's not.
